Japan Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (SIIF)

The Japan Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (SIIF) is a Japanese foundation dedicated to promoting impact investing and building a robust impact ecosystem in Japan. It was originally established in 2017 as the Social Investment Promotion Foundation, formed through a spin-out by members of The Nippon Foundation. In 2019, it merged with the Social Change Promotion Organization (the surviving entity) and adopted its current name.SIIF supports Kazu and Reiri as impact strategy specialists in the operation of SIIFIC Wellness Fund. In addition, the Healthcare Vision Paper—developed by members of SIIF at the time, including SIIFIC Founding Reiri Miura—served as an important guiding framework in identifying the leverage points and investment themes for the SIIFIC Wellness Fund.
