A biotech startup spun out from Kumamoto University, C-HAS Plus has developed the world’s first health-span evaluation platform using the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. By mapping the worm’s life cycle to human ageing, C-HAS Plus enables rapid, high-quality assessment of how foods, supplements and drug candidates affect health span — reducing reliance on animal testing and accelerating discovery of wellness-enhancing compounds.
