(President and CEO: Masuhiro Yoshitake; Securities Code 520A; hereinafter “J-Pharma”), the first portfolio company of the SIIFIC Wellness Fund managed by SIIFIC, was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on March 25, 2026.
About J-Pharma Co., Ltd.
J-Pharma is a biotechnology startup dedicated to exploring the untapped potential of SLC transporters (amino acid transporters located on cell membranes) and contributing to the health and well-being of patients worldwide through the development of innovative medicines that address unmet medical needs.
Its lead drug candidate, Nanvuranlat (development code JPH203), a LAT1 inhibitor developed by the company, is currently undergoing clinical trials with biliary tract cancer—an indication for which effective treatment options remain limited—as its initial target indication. The drug has attracted considerable attention as a next-generation anticancer therapy with the potential to offer improved safety and reduced side effects compared with conventional treatments.
